Being raised with a Millennial moral compass by our elders whilst being members of a Gen Z time period. Short Films & Documentaries
The Disappearance of Lori Paige
Directed, produced, and edited during my junior year of college, this documentary explores the disappearance of Lori Paige and the broader issue of how missing children of color often receive less media attention, fewer resources, and less urgency in search efforts compared to their white counterparts.
Through research, reporting, and storytelling, this film examines the disparities that exist within missing persons cases and asks important questions about whose stories are amplified and whose are overlooked. Lori Paige’s case serves as a lens into a larger conversation about equity, representation, and justice for missing children and their families.
This project reflects my passion for investigative journalism and telling stories that challenge audiences to think critically about the systems that shape our society.

Love vs Lust Part 1
Love vs. Lust is a short film produced and directed by Briana Jones-Gill to tease the Journey Magazine Love issue.
The film explores the blurred line between genuine connection and temporary desire in modern relationships. Told through parallel perspectives, the film follows two young adults navigating heartbreak, loneliness, and the search for intimacy.
As one relationship ends, another begins, revealing how easily people can confuse physical attraction with emotional fulfillment. Through striking visual storytelling and unexpected twists, Love vs. Lust challenges viewers to question what they are truly seeking when they pursue love. This film examines the choices we make, the connections we crave, and the difference between being wanted and being valued.
At its core, Love vs. Lust is a conversation about relationships, self-awareness, and the complexities of human desire.
